About the SOC

Three Global War on Terror (GWOT) combat veterans from Connecticut decided to do something about the forthcoming closure of the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.

Chairperson Charles M. Pickett (Linked In), Vice-Chairperson Mike Monaco (Linked In), and Vice-Chairperson Charise Hewitt (Linked In) formed this grassroots campaign outside our traditional veteran organizations. We realized a single-issue campaign, may best coordinate and unite the different veterans groups in Connecticut toward a common objective of expanding and saving the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
