🚨 Now Accepting Proposals: Middletown State Veterans Cemetery Expansion Project
 
The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified contractors for a significant enhancement at the Middletown State Veterans Cemetery. This project will create approximately 1,500 new in-ground cremated remains burial plots, ensuring continued access to dignified resting places for our veterans.
 
Key project elements include:
• Demolition of the existing cottage and preparation of the surrounding land
• Site clearing, grading, and landscaping
• Construction in accordance with U.S. VA and CT DVA in-ground cremation burial standards
• Maintaining full cemetery operations throughout the project
 
📅 Mandatory Site Visit: August 7, 2026
📅 Submission Deadline: August 31, 2026
